Kiln Ledger is a private offline studio log for ceramic artists to record firings, glaze tests, shelf maps, clay batches, and maintenance. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
Kiln Ledger does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app is designed to work fully offline.
2. Information we collect
We collect no personal information.
- No account or sign-in is required
- No analytics or advertising SDKs are included
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone, or phone identifiers are requested
- No data is sent to our servers (the app has no backend that receives user content)
3. Information stored on your device
Any notes, logs, or preferences you enter stay on your device for the app to function. That information is not uploaded by the app.
If you uninstall the app, on-device app data may be deleted by Android according to your device settings.
4. Permissions
Kiln Ledger does not request dangerous Android permissions. It only uses standard system capabilities needed to run as a normal offline app.
5. Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no personal data is collected, the app does not process children’s data.
6. Third parties
The app does not integrate third-party ads, analytics, crash reporting, or social login services.
Distribution through Google Play is subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policy for the Play Store platform.
7. Data security
Because user content remains on-device and is not transmitted by the app, risk related to our servers does not apply. Protect your device with a lock screen and keep your system updated.

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
